Polyethylene Glycol+ Propylene Glycol belongs to the class of medicines called eye lubricants. The medicine is used in the treatment of dry eyes. Dry eyes are caused by allergic eye diseases or eye infections, wind, heating/air conditioning, and certain medications, drying the eyes lubricants thereby causing irritation in the eyes. Polyethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol treat the symptoms of dry eyes by working similarly to natural tears. The medicine is effective in providing temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or do not let it touch your eyes or any other surface.
Take the medicine as per the prescribed dosage and duration by the doctor. The drops are for external use only.
